Following this consultation, your comments will be reviewed and any appropriate revisions will be made to the scheme prior to finalisation and submission of the Outline Planning Application to Lichfield District Council.

Once the Outline Planning Application has been submitted and registered by Lichfield District Council, the Council will carry out the statutory consultation on the application, seeking feedback from statutory bodies such as the Highway Authority and Lead Local Flood Authority, along with other consultees and local residents.

Once the application has been thoroughly assessed by the Council, a decision will be made by the Council as to whether to grant planning permission.

If outline planning permission is granted, a detailed planning application known as a ‘Reserved Matters planning application’ would be prepared and submitted to Lichfield District Council in the months afterwards. This would include more details such as appearance, materials, detailed layout and landscaping.

Both the Outline and Reserved Matters planning applications are subject to statutory consultation carried out by Lichfield District Council.
